We killed Akama today, then moved on to try Teron again. We were a little short of healers, and another one had to leave when we reached the boss for personal reasons. So we ended up with 5 main healers and 2 alt's who had never entered tk, let alone a BT progress run. Even so we had a week for people to look into the tactics and try the simulator and so on, and it showed through. Not a single ghost got loose into the raid, and we managed to one shot the boss. Incredible work by everyone who was there, i'm proud of you! ![]() After Teron we headed to bloodboil, we had a few attempts, including one which i wiped by over agroing within the first 30 seconds. Best try was 72%. Now we have to decide where to progress next raid. Logayn |

We went into BT again today to take a shot at the third boss, Shade of Akama. We were trying some non standard tactics, but after a couple of tweaks we got them working and took him down. ![]() Afterwards we went to Teron Gorefiend. But some slow trash clearing meant we didn't have long for boss attempts. First try we got him to 33% however before somone cocked up on the construct killing. Everyone practice on the simulator (and make sure you have hotbars showing) and next week he will be downed! Good work this week guys! Logayn |

We returned to BT for the second time today with a slightly stonger group and a bit of experience under our belt. on Naj'Entus there were no big mistakes and after a few attempts we got the spine stuff sorted and took him down. I was slightly confused about the damage meter after the Naj'Entus attempts... Not only was i not first, i wasn't in the top 10. After worrying about my sudden and extreme gimping for half an hour or so, i realised that i stil had rank 2 shadowbolt on my hotbars instead of rank 11, and my bolts had been critting for 500 damage. So thankfully it wasn't a gear issue, only a retardation issue. ![]() After doing Naj'Entus relatively early on we headed towards Supremus. We had 3 people in the raid who had been here many times before, but apparently they all slept through the trash every time because they weren't able to tell me what the hell we should be doing. So i made vague guesses and we stumbled through without any problems. We got to supremus and got him to 75% on the first attempt. Bizarrely we had a lot of issues with main tank deaths, despite having 8 healers, the boss dealing low damage and there being little raid damage to heal. After a few attempts though people seemed to work out what a volcano was, and that volcanoe = bad. And we went from a 60% attempt to downing him. ![]() Great job in there by everyone who came, shame the drops sucked, but oh well. Tomorrow lets go try Shade Of Akama before i have to leave for Turkey! (and in the future everyone remind me to check what rank spells i am using). Good work TLR. Logayn |

Todays raid was going to be a full night of Azgalor attempts. However there were issues with group setup and lack of some of the best members. However for once we had good healing. We wiped a few times on trash due to an enormous lack of crowd control. After a while some people had to leave and we got some good crowd control in to replace them. Waiting for members to turn up wasted a hell of a lot of time, but thanks to some excellent distracting from our rogues again we got everyone buffed and resed before we engaged the boss. The first time we actually attempted the boss we downed him (we wiped a few times on trash though). We had issues with lack of soulstones and combat res's, and our add tanks repeatedly got doomed, so we had some loose mobs. We finished with a grand total of 3 people left alive (who subsequently died to adds). Good job by everyone though, (and next attempt Weinot, try to stay alive past the first rain of fire). ![]() After Azgalor we went and tried Lady Vashj we got to 3/4 containers down in phase 2, but half the raid was dead by that point. Next raid we'll get some more attempts and see about getting farther in. Logayn |

We went to MH today after a new reset to clear a couple of bosses. I wasn't sure about the healer situation but i thought we'd give it a try. We took down rage first try of course, but then surprisingly managed to take down anetheron first try, despite one healer being afk the entire fight, AND having an infernal land on him. We still had hours left, so we went to try Kaz Rogal again. We had a couple of issues on the trash, until we reached the boss, with our main tank dying just before he came. He had to be fast res'd and healed. The first attempt ended with an early tank death because healers were worrying a bit too much about their mana. The next try the main tank died AGAIN just before the boss spawned. However the 3 rogues, managed to chain distract the boss until we were all buffed with full health and mana. The dps was still somewhat low, and half the raid blew up at the end, but we still managed to take him down. Good job everyone, lets do Azgalor too this week! Logayn |

Didn't look like a raid would happen at first today, lot of people couldn't make it and many could only come late. I wanted to do something though so we waited for a while until we had gathered enough members. We went to mount hyjal again with an ok looking group. Celestials pc was acting up causing some tanking dodginess at later trash waves, but we still finished of rage soon enough. I wasn't sure about trying anetheron with the group we had, and some people had to leave, but we grabbed a couple of replacements, including Gertus who was thinking about joining the guild. We tried out a modification of the old tactics, suggested by ardara. They seemed effective but with a few issues. Changing them slightly we made another try and finally took him down! Good job by all the healers, particularly qap solo healing the infernal tank. Congratulations to Linkan who can change his main after his performance in this run (he put a hell of a lot of effort into gearing it to switch). Also special thanks to uduandy for his distract on the boss, and then suiciding himself (repeatedly), if he hadn't suiceded we all know he would have landed an infernal on the healers and wiped us. Very selfless of him! Logayn |

We had a decent looking raid today, and people were sick of SSC, so we decided to head out for our first visit to mount hyjal. We managed to get all but one person into the zone before Itzalani ninja-started the first boss event. A hasty summon between trash waves brought the last person inside, but with no healthstones, conjured food to rest with, half our buffs down, and with no tactics explained Despite that most of the tactics were explained on the fly, and the people who already knew what to do performed their jobs well. Everyone picked up the idea as we went along, and we still managed to one shot the boss. Extremely impressive everyone! (but next time lets do a real try first). ![]() After rage we moved on to trying anetheron. We had no problems with the trash waves, and got some nice trash epics. The first attempt got anetheron to about 60%, but it wasn't sustainable. We tried tweaking some tactics, some of them were a bit of a disaster, but we managed to get him to 45% on our best attempt. After the raid i had some tactics discussions witha few people, and we had a few ideas which should make the fight easily doable next time round. All in all a good raid by everybody in attendance! We started out with a few trash wipes today and a non filled raid group, i was already sobbing to myself in real life. We finally got to leothoras, first attempt we got him to around 70%, but it let people see what was going on. We made a couple of tactical changes which i didn't believe would work, and next attempt we got him to 5% (just goes to show how much i know). Third attempt was a 1% wipe, and the fourth try we took him down. Good job by everyone involved, especially considering there were some new members, they did well. Special thanks to my warlocks for chain soulstoning me during the fight, allowing me to die up to 3 times per attempt, hooray! Apologies for the less than perfect picture, the boss dissappeared on us before i took a proper one. >_< Logayn |

We went into SSC today to try out another of the new bosses. Karathress proved to be a bit more annoying than expected, and a few tactic changes were required before we could start making some good attempts, we were also suffering from an unfortunate lack of healers for the run. There were a few problems with unusually long delays between some wipes (however it would have been worse without enki's repair bot). In the end we got a very nice attempt, and we took him down well, unfortunately he dropped crap loot, but such is life. :P Since it was still not too late after Karathress, and many people were eager to try the nerfed magtheridon out, we headed over to his lair. He turned out to have been nerfed significantly less than we had heard, but still the fight was not too hard, we had a fairly well set up group and got further on our first attempt of the night than we ever managed before. There were a few unfortunate ninja pulls and some people needing to leave and be replaced, but in the end we killed him on what was going to be the last attempt of the night. Unfortunately half the loot was stolen by me, sorry about that guys, but at least i'm spending all my dkp at last :) 3 new bosses down this week, great job by everyone! Logayn |

Farendell has been slacking off recently so i'll update the frontpage myself. ;) We entered SSC today to make our first attempt ever on Morrorgrim. There were some disagreements over the tactics, and a few unfortunate tank deaths, but eventually we seemed to get it working, and managed to keep everything up for the whole fight, finishing him off with a perfect attempt. Good work everyone! Logayn |

After having killed Al’ar 2 days ago, we decided to go for even more progress; this time in SSC. Hydross the Unstable proved to be a lot easier than Al’ar, and after a couple of silly Aggro wipes we managed to take him down. Special thanks to Ardara, who’s new strategy made life a lot easier. Great week everyone! Let’s keep this progress up. Farendell |

From 14 online to downing Al'ar! Very spontaneously, while we were clearing trash, a 5th tank came online and we decided to give Al’ar a few tries. It was very pleasing to see that people got the hang of it after only a few wipes - people adjusted very quickly to the new strategies and everyone was 100% focused! Then to everyones surprise on our 5th try, after re-clearing the trash, we took him down!! Amazing job everyone!! I have to say (and I think many of you agree) that this kill was very unexpected!! This was an exceptionally good raid. 3/4 TK - Kael'thas is next in line. Farendell |

After having downed Solarion on our first try we went to SSC with full confidence to give the Lurker another go. After a messy start with people *cough* Logayn... getting hit by spout we finally got the adds under control. The rest of the fight went smoothly and we downed Lurker on our first attempt! Good job everyone! Farendell |

Another boss down in TK, we are half way there! After waiting for half an hour for people to get the required addon we finally gave Solarion a shot. The first try didnt seem to promising wiping at 95%, but in the second try we did alot better and downed Solarion! Well done everyone! Farendell |

We went into tempest keep again today for another try on void reaver. The focus was far better this time, with people acting like they knew what the hell they were doing on the trash for a change. :P Farendell was so surprised at everyone he forgot to do any ninja pulls, so it ended up taking half the time to reach void reaver with 1/10 the repair bill for everyone. When we actually got there, most of the raid put up a damn good performance, taking him down on the first attempt of the night. Great work everyone, especially my warlocks, who did a great job even with no shadowpriest...... *sniff* i'm so proud. Logayn |

We went into a half cleared ZA, ready to take our third stab at the hex lord. The start was promising, getting further than ever before early on. However it took a many attempts before we got lucky and managed to push that final bit. Congratulations to everyone there, especially the great work by the healers! After hex lord, we were flagging a little, it was late and people were tired and most were low on consumables. Even so we decided to take a look at Zul'Jin, just for the experience. The first few attempts proved surprisingly good, getting through several stages without deaths. It was decided that even though it was late, and we were all running low, we could eventually take him down. After a number of tries we finally got to the last stage with no deaths! At this point people got pretty sloppy, and despite how easy the stage is, we almost lost everybody. But, in the end we were lucky and just about managed to kill him. Great work by all who were there! (As a bonus, click here to see how close it really was) Logayn |

The previous day we cleared the first two animal bosses (and also managed to get our first timed chest!). We also had a few fairly unsuccessful attempts on Halazzi (the lynx). Today it was time for a real try! We had some members new to ZA with us, but they managed to pick up the tactics quickly, and we took him down on only the second attempt! Great work by everyone involved, and it was nice to see much more wide spread consumable use. Logayn The same night, after downing Halazzi, we moved on to the dragon-hawk, jan’alai. After successfully killing all the trash we had our first few tries. Some people had some difficulty finding safe spots between the bombs (cough) but on our third try everyone got the hang of it, and we downed him quite easily. Even though the crap loot, it was a very nice raid! Thanks for taking part everyone, all the priests are down, and only the hex lord malacrass and Zul’Jin remain. Farendell |

Before the reset of za that night, and the official run the following day, some members decided to go into the partially cleared za from earlier in the week, and take a stab at the second boss again. It took us several attempts including one very annoying wipe at 1%, but eventually the eagle went down! Great work to everyone there (but next time lets try and finish with a few more people alive, prefferably including a tank :P) After Akil'zon we went on to try the lynx boss. There were several problems and eventually we had to give up without getting too far. Hopefully next time with some proper leadership and so forth, we can make a better try! Logayn |

We returned to gruuls lair again, (this time without any support from doomed :P) There were some new members in the raid and so it took us a few attempts, but maulgar went down, and we could move on to the main event! Again some newer members took a little while to understand the tactics, but we kept improving each attempt and eventually bagged the big guy! Logayn |

After a very fast and successfull clear of the remnants in kara, we decided to take our first look into Zul'Aman Many didn't know the tactics before, and we had to look them up at the time. Nevertheless we took down Nalorakk on our first attempt. Next we went to Akil'Zon who proved a bit more of a challenge. We made several attempts with the best getting him to 6%. Unfortunately we got trash respawns and it was getting late so we had to call it a night. But we will certainly take him next week during our first scheduled run. Logayn |

Our first entry to Gruul’s lair was very successful. With 3 ninja pulls and about 8 wipes, we managed to finally down Maulgar. Even though we had a special guest from Doomed joining us (who shortened the fight by about 5 minutes), but I still think we did a very good job! Facing Gruul was also going really well, we even managed to get him down to 9%. Real nice progress everyone, lets hope that we will clear Gruul’s lair next Saturday! Farendell |

Nightbane DOWN!! Which means Kharazan is cleared. Well done everyone! It has been a great raiding week, only last Saturday we downed attumen for the very first time. Clearing Kharazan in a week is definitely impressive... Our path to Black Temple is clear-cut :P Farendell |

After 7 wipes we finally managed to kill the prince... Great effort everyone!! It was worth it!! Even with the expensive repair bills
Despite all the wipes we still took on Illhoof after the prince and got him down to 3% on our first try!!! On our second try we then downed him without any major difficulty... Well done everyone! Great raid. Now only Nightbane remains. Farendell |

After 2 days of trying and working on different tactics we finally downed Netherspite! Good work everyone, if we continue like this we will have cleared kharazan by the end of this weekend! Farendell |
